Overview:

The revitalization and renewal of Cincinnati USA demands a new and integrated approach to urban policy and practice at the local, state and federal levels to create better places to live for current residents and for a new generation of urban dwellers. We must prioritize and leverage the economic strengths of the Cincinnati USA region by creating livable communities through catalytic investments that transforms the region's urban neighborhoods into communities of choice recognizing the regional impact on surrounding suburban and urban areas.

Focus Areas/Projects:
  • Crime & Safety- Our intention is to set safety improvement goals and initiatives for communities that are targeted for catalytic reinvestment activities.

  • Neighborhood Improvement (Housing)- We aim to improve our neighborhoods by increasing public and private investments in targeted urban areas that attract scaled mixed-income and creating mixed-use developments (including residences) that beautify urban core neighborhoods.

  • Employment- By pursuing urban entrepreneurship, supporting growth of established small businesses and capitalizing on urban population employment potential, we hope to increase employment. We also hope to increase employment through strategies customized for targeted urban clusters that encompass small businesses and entrepreneurship growth and capitalize on the potential of targeted urban cluster populations.

  • Work Support Services- Our objective is to create an integrated network of Work Support Services to focus on growing the middle class by helping low-way workers build skills, income and wealth.
