Pledge of Inclusion:

Agenda 360 will promote inclusion as key to developing a shared urban strategy for the Greater Cincinnati region. We will support civic capacity-building for greater inclusion; ensure that community voices of diversity are recognized as core voices of the "new" region; and promote the goal of making all neighborhoods across the region Communities of Opportunity, where all residents have access to the essential ingredients for success: living-wage jobs, proximity to public transportation, quality schools, diverse housing choices, a safe neighborhood, important health and human services, and amenities including supermarkets, cultural centers and parks.

Leadership:

Chip Harrod - Bridges
Auclair Walters - Avon

Overview:

The action plans and priorities established by Agenda 360 will only be sustainable if they help to build communities of opportunity and regional equity, and are accepted and embraced by the people they will serve. The mission of the Inclusion Team is to work closely with the action and support teams to ensure inclusive involvement from the four primary counties of Southwest Ohio through actions which include people regardless of race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, income, education, health, culture or geography and with equity and justice for all.

Focus Areas/Projects:
  • Inclusive Composition - The Inclusion team will work with the action teams and other support teams to ensure that their teams are inclusive and demographically representative of the communities and interests being served.

  • Inclusive Input - We will also work to ensure that there is an inclusive process for gathering input, collecting data, and collaborative research.

  • Inclusion Metrics - The Inclusion support team will identify inclusion metrics to be utilized and track results.

  • Inclusion Lens - Work with action and support teams to ensure that they are consistently utilizing the lens of inclusion in creating their priorities, recommendations, and implementation plans. Help to foster a dynamic and open civic culture and informed public discourse.
